LUKE Conlan has become the latest player to agree a new deal with the Shrimps.
The left-back, who was one of Morecambe’s stand out performers at the end of last season, has agreed a new one deal with the club.
The 23-year-old turned down offers from other clubs to re-sign for the club, much to the delight of boss Jim Bentley.
“Luke really came to the fore in the second half of last season and was one of our most consistent players.
“I know he had interest from other clubs so I am delighted that he has chosen to stay.
“He is another young player who is gaining in experience and getting better all the time and is a great player to work with.’’
