SHRIMPS boss Jim Bentley says his side will be looking forward to going to Deepdale for the first round of the Carabao Cup.
The draw for the competition was made this morning with the Shrimps being pitted against their near rivals for the third time in the competition.
The first time the two sides met came in the Shrimps' first season in the Football League when Bentley was a goalscorer in a Morecambe win.
Preston won the second game comfortably after Mark Duffy had missed a Morecambe penalty.
Bentley said: "It's a really tough draw but it is one we will look forward to and gives us something to be really focused on in pre season too.
"Deepdale is a fantastic place to play. We have been there before and won so we will go into the game with the attitude that we can win the tie.''
