STEVEN Old has agreed a new deal with the club.
The experienced central defender, who had a superb first season in English League football last season, has agreed to a new two year contract for the Shrimps.
The deal has has delighted boss Jim Bentley who was full of praise for Old’s contribution last season.
He said: “Steve settled into life in the Football League superbly well and was at the heart of a defence that performed well all season.
“One of our key objectives in the close season was to secure his signature and we are all delighted that he has agreed to stay.
“He is a fantastic professional and great to work with and is a real help to the younger players in the squad and we are all looking forward to working with him again over the coming seasons.’'
