Max Müller has returned to training after spending February in Germany due to a family bereavement.
The 23-year-old enjoyed his first training session since his return to the country this morning and is looking to get back to full fitness as soon as possible.
“It’s decent to be back, after everything that happened back home I had other things on my mind than keeping fit so I’ll need a week or 2 to get myself ready. Maybe some extra running after training but I’m just happy to be back with the lads and playing football.”
Müller has made 24 appearances for the Shrimps this season since signing on loan from Wycombe Wanderers in August and was pleased to see his team mates put some points on the board in his absence;
“I’ve been watching the results and the highlights, all the little videos. It was nice to see the result come in from Wycombe, the Forest Green result could have been better but we’re in a good position with a few games in hand to push us up towards the middle of the table.”
