JIM Bentley says his side are in a much better place than they were when they last visited Forest Green Rovers.
Last season the Shrimps fell into the bottom two in League 2 for the first time in the boss’s managerial career after losing at the New Lawn after a poor performance against the then struggling Football League newcomers.
He admitted it was a day to forget and one of the lowest points he has ever had since taking over.
He said: “It was a bad day and after the game I was really low.
“We hadn’t played well and we were in the bottom two for the first time and it wasn’t a nice feeling at all.
“I certainly don’t want that feeling again but I am pretty sure we are better placed this year.
“We are playing much better football and I am sure we will give a better performance this weekend.
“At the same time though Forest Green are better placed too. They have had a really good start to the season and are obviously a tough team to beat so it will be a tough game but one we can look forward to.’'
