TEAM NEWS V HALIFAX TOWN

10 November 2018

JIM Bentley has named his starting xi to face Halifax Town in today’s FA Cup first round tie.

Mark Halstead remains in goal with Barry Roche failing to recover from his thigh strain that kept him out of the victory against Yeovil last weekend.

Steven Old returns to the starting xi after recovering from his achilles injury. The experienced centre half partners Sam Lavelle in a back four between Zak Mills and Luke Conlan.

Jordan Cranston and Aaron Wildig remain in central midfield behind the same front four that faced Yeovil a week ago.

Liam Mandeville and Rhys Oates play on the wings, with A-Jay Leitch-Smith and Vadaine Oliver leading the line for the Shrimps.

Dawid Szczepaniak provides goalkeeper cover on the substitutes’ bench, he’s joined by Josef Yarney, Andrew Tutte, Alex Kenyon, Carlos Mendes Gomes, Jason Oswell and Kevin Ellison.
