ROCHE SHORTLISTED FOR LEAGUE 2 PLAYER OF YEAR

19 October 2018

SHRIMPS’ skipper Barry Roche has been nominated for a player of the year honour at the forthcoming North West Football Awards.

Roche, the Shrimps’ player of the year last season, has been shortlisted for the League 2 Player of the Year award and is up against Accrington striker Billy Kee and former Morecambe team mate Jamie Devitt.

The awards will be announced and presented at Old Trafford cricket ground on Monday, November 12.

Laura Wolfe, speaking on behalf of the North West Football Awards said: “This year saw our judging panels facing some really tough decisions.

“The quality of the entries was hugely impressive and the range of work carried out by the clubs in our regions continues to be an example for other clubs to follow.

“We are looking forward to an incredible night celebrating North West football on November 12th.”
