Morecambe FC Academy is launching a new Development Centre, to identify and nurture talented young players in the local area.
The Foundation Phase Development Centre is for U6-U11 players who wish to develop their football and life skills in an enjoyable and friendly environment.
Weekly sessions will take place at Lancaster & Morecambe College starting on Wednesday 3rd October and can be booked in 8 week blocks. Advance booking is essential.
The Development Centre runs parallel to the clubs Academy and sessions will be delivered by FA and UEFA qualified coaches.
James Dunn, the Foundation Phase Lead at Morecambe’s Academy said “our aim is to support players in the local area to reach their full potential.”
“For gifted and talented players; the Development Centre offers a pathway into the Academy, but we look forward to helping all of those who train with us to improve their game in an enjoyable environment.”
