TEAM NEWS V MACCLESFIELD

JIM Bentley has named his side to face Macclesfield Town in this afternoon’s SkyBet League 2 fixture at the Globe Arena.

Barry Roche captains the side in goal behind a back four, which sees two changes. Sam Lavelle features in place of the injured Steven Old (achilles) to make his first league start of the season.

Luke Conlan returns from his hamstring injury that saw the Northern Irishman miss out at Crawley Town last Saturday. He replaces Jordan Cranston at left-back, Zak Mills and Josef Yarney complete the back line.

Alex Kenyon returns to the side from his recent ankle injury suffered in the reserve’s 4-0 victory over Rotherham on 29th August, he partners Andrew Fleming in central midfield.

Rhys Oates returns to the side to play alongside Liam Mandeville and Aaron Wildig who plays a more advanced role this afternoon with A-Jay Leitch-Smith pushed up to centre forward.

Mark Halstead returns to the substitutes bench after recovering from his hip contusion suffered in the Checkatrade Trophy defeat at Carlisle. The back-up goalkeeper is accompanied by James Sinclair, Andrew Tutte, Ben Hedley, Kevin Ellison, Joe Piggott and Vadaine Oliver.
