AARON Collins says his start to life as a Morecambe player has been the best he has had in his career.
The 21-year-old scored on his Shrimps debut, coming off the bench at Port Vale to grab the winner in the 75th minute.
Three days later, Collins earned the Shrimps with another three points with a 90th minute winner against Oldham Athletic after replacing Richie Bennett in the 73rd minute.
Collins said: "It's been a good week, obviously Saturday wasn't the best performance or result but for me personally as well as the team, the wins at Oldham and Port Vale were great to be fair.
"Both of my goals have been one touch finishes in the box, which isn't how I usually get my goals but they've both come to me when I've been in the right place at the right time.
"When I came on at Port Vale all I wanted was to come on, get in the box and get that goal and to do it and grab another winner midweek was an amazing feeling for me.
"I scored on my debut for Notts County but having scored two winners in two games here I'd say this is the best start I've had at a club.
"We've got two big away games coming up with Yeovil This weekend and Notts County the following away game so to get results there would be great for us and improve our position even more."
