FLEMING AND SINCLAIR REJOIN THE GROUP

14 February 2019

ANDREW Fleming and James Sinclair have rejoined the group in training this week.

The pair have been out injured since September but have progressed well and this week have made another step towards their return to first team football.

Physiotherapist Simon Farnworth said: "After a lot of running and a lot of strength work, Andrew and James have joined in with the group on a non-contact basis this week and gradually over the next couple of weeks we'll step it up with more contact work.

"Hopefully throughout the next couple of weeks we'll get them back to where they need to be and they'll then be available for selection."

Shrimps boss Jim Bentley added: "It's good news for us, obviously they've had horrendous injuries that have kept them out for five months.

"James was getting better and better with its leading up the when he suffered his injury, he was excellent against Carlisle, which was his last first team game before getting injured so it was a big blow to lose him.

"Flemo had arguably been our best player from the start of the season to the point he got injured and he scored a great goal against Macclesfield in his last game for us before being ruled out so it's two good players to have back in the group."
