SHRIMPS’ boss Jim Bentley says his side need to get back to winning ways as soon as possible after a poor tun of form.

The Shrimps have won just one of their last 14 games and Bentley is the first to admit his sides need to turn the corner as soon as possible.

He said: “We are on a poor run of form and we have to accept that.

“We need to win as soon as possible and a good result at Port Vale would be a great start. Three points would take us closer to them and hopefully see us start to move clear of the other teams in and around us.

“We will go and give it our all as always. We will be positive and going all out for the win which is overdue.

“Although we were disappointed with the result against Bury last week there were some positives in the game and now we are looking forward to it.

“We are not in good form but it only takes a win to get that feel good factor back. Look at Crewe and the run they have been on in recent weeks since they scored that last minute equaliser against us. They have shot up the table and Dave Artell is up for manager of the month.

“A win would be huge especially with a game on Tuesday as well.''
