The EFL Kids Cup reaches the next round of the competition in March, the Regional Finals.
This Years' Kids Cup Final match between St Peter's and Greatwood, which was played at half time of the Morecambe vs Stevenage game back in January, showcased some brilliant football and ended up being a really close game.
However with last years' winners St Peters managing to provale with a 1-0 win over Greatwood, they will now progress further forward into the next round of the competition- The Regional Finals.
The Regional Finals will be played on Wednesday 13th March located at The Eddie Davies Academy at Bolton Wanderers. It is set for a 10am start and will be finished by 3pm; Morecambe will be in the League Two North group which compromises of 12 League two clubs.
St Peters, who will be representing Morecambe FC, will be playing in the group alongside Bury, Carlisle United, Grimsby Town, Macclesfield Town, Crewe Alexandra, Mansfield Town, Lincoln City, Notts County, Oldham Athletic, Port Vale and Tranmere Rovers.
After the success at last years' Kids Cup, with St Peters managing to win the competition, we will be hoping that they can progress all the way to Wembley this year as well.
