SAM Dalby says he is “excited’’ to have signed for the Shrimps for the end of season run in.
The teenage striker joined the club on deadline day from Leeds United and says he is looking forward to getting involved in League 2 action again.
Dalby played against the Shrimps when he was a youngster at Orient in a game that Morecambe win 1-0 thanks to a Paul Mullin stunner and is keen to get back into first team action.
Sam said: "I’m glad to be here and I’m looking forward to the opportunity to play some games and hopefully score some goals.
“The move was a bit of a surprise really but a good one. I was just having my dinner at about 6pm on deadline day and got a call from my agent to tell me I was going to Morecambe on loan.
“It was a nice surprise I must admit and I can’t wait to get going. I played some games in League 2 when I was about 16, including the game against Morecambe, and got some great experience and am hoping to build on that now.''
