YOUNG midfielder Carlos Mendes-Gomes says he has benefited greatly from starting the last two games for the Shrimps.
The promising youngster has started against Colchester and Carlisle and says he has learned a lot from both games and is hoping for more game to continue his development at Football League level.
Carlos said: "Everything is going really well and I’m very happy to be in the team and trying to help the squad.
"The more you play the more confidence you get and I have gained a lot already. I thought I might struggle fitness wise but that hasn’t been the case so far.
"It’s very competitive and it is hard work. I have worked hard at my fitness and I hope that has come through. I was told I needed to improve my fitness levels and I think I have done that.
"My main aim now is to become a regular in the side and also get my first goal as that would be an amazing story for me.''
