JIM Bentley said his side put in a “fantastic’’ display to pick up a valuable point at high flying Exeter.
After picking ups third draw in four games Bentley said: "It was a fantastic result against a good side in good form.
"We tried a new formation which we worked on during the week and I thought defensively we were really solid. We have a list of things we expect of the players in terms of endeavour and desire and it was there for all to see today.
"It was like the Colchester game where we ground out a good result.
"We worked really hard and limited a good side to very few chances. They put in a few good crosses but I can only recall Mark Halstead making one save in the game which is testament to those in front of him.
"Going the other way we have tested their keeper on a few occasions and he had to make a great save from Andrew Tutte’s free kick and on another day we could have nicked the win. They had to defend well themselves and throw themselves in front of shots too so it certainly wasn’t all one way traffic and they will know they have been in a game.’'
