SHRIMPS defender Zak Mills believes he is getting back to full fitness after his recent hernia operation.
Mills has played a number of games since going under the knife towards the end of last year and feels he is getting stronger with ever passing game.
He said: “I'm starting to feel good. I’m slowly getting there but it has taken me a bit longer than I would have liked I must admit.
“A few more games though and I think I will be back where I was before.’'
Mills played at wing back at Exeter on Saturday as the Shrimps changed formation and it is a position he says he feels comfortable in.
“I'm happy to play wing back, right back or centre half,’’ he said.
"I can play there pretty comfortably I think.
"I do like to get forward and the back three system that we played on Saturday does give me a bit more licence to go up the pitch.
“It didn’t really work out that way at Exeter as we were camped in our half for spells so I couldn’t get out as much as I would have liked to but if the game merits it then I’m happy to bomb on a bit.’'
