Jim Bentley says his side are desperate to get back to winning ways when they face Crewe at the Globe Arena on Saturday.
The Shrimps' boss wants to see his side produce the same level of performance that saw them beat Cambridge 3-0 a few weeks ago.
Bentley said: "We all know that the game at Crewe on the first day of the season was a horror show but we have to forget about that and concentrate on this weekend.
"Crewe have had some good results of late and have some good players so we know what they are about.
"They won this game last year but it was a game we dominated and hit the woodwork a couple of times before they scored late on.
"We have to look to be more clinical ourselves and make sure we are tight at the back again like we were at Colchester last week.
"It's a big game for us but we know what we have to do and are ready for it."
