THE Shrimps have signed young Leeds United striker Sam Dalby on loan until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old centre forward is the Shrimps' second signing of deadline day and will add to Jim Bentley’s striking options for the end of season run in.
Dalby joined Leeds from Leyton Orient in January 2018 for an undisclosed fee and signed a two and a half year contract for the Elland Road club where he has been a regular in their U23s side.
Bentley said: “Sam is a highly rated young forward who has a lot of attributes.
"He has been on the bench for Leeds this season and already tasted League Two and National League football. He is tall and strong, and we are looking forward to working with him.''
Dalby made his debut for National League side Leyton Orient at the age of just 16.
