CRANSTON SWITCHES SQUAD NUMBER

8 July 2019

Jordan Cranston has explained the reasons behind his change of squad number this season.

The versatile player, who is now in his second season with the club, started life as the number 27 but has now taken the number 33 shirt for this coming campaign.

Talking about the decision he said: “I took 27 last year because my son was born on the 27th and it was something nice to do.

“This season I have gone back to 33 which is a number that will always mean a lot to me as I made my Football League debut at Notts County as their number 33 and it is something I will always remember.’'

Cranston is also looking forward to settling into the area.

He said: “I was based in the Midlands last year but I’ll be moving to Lancaster soon and really looking forward to that.

"Last year was my first at the club and it took me a while to settle in but I really feel part of the club now and the move locally will cut out a lot of travelling and I’m hoping that will help even more.’'
