Cole Stockton is happy to have opened his goalscoring tally for the pre-season campaign.
The forward joined the Shrimps from Tranmere Rovers in the summer and scored both goals in the 2-0 victory over Bamber Bridge on Saturday afternoon.
The 25-year-old said: "It's always nice to get a few goals throughout pre-season, really it's all about the minutes but it's still nice to get on the scoresheet.
"It wasn't my best performance, I wasn't great today especially first half but that happens, the touches, the sharpness, it'll all come together.
"It's a really good group of lads here and we're all familiarising ourselves with how each other play.
"Everyone's working hard as a group and I'm sure everything will come together."
