Morecambe FC Community Sports is seeking highly motivated, responsible and committed individuals to work within its expanding community programme.

The Charity is looking to add a multi sport coach to lead and deliver on a number of projects including holiday camps/ centres, activities on match days and in particular the schools programme and extra- curricular activities.

Job Title Multi Sport Community Coach

Reports To School Sports Manager or Head of Community

Location Various locations across Lancaster and Morecambe

Hours Various hours, which will include some evenings and weekends

Salary Competitive salary, dependant on experience and qualifications

Job Purpose:

To deliver high quality multi-sport school and community based coaching for all ages in Morecambe and surrounding area, enabling individuals to develop their abilities to their potential and enjoy physical activity which will encourage them to sustain activity levels. Provide support to the Senior Team to deliver funded projects across the foundation.

Coaches will also promote positive healthy lifetyle choices and deliver educational messages through the median of football and sport through coaching. Our work will be focused delivering within primary/ secondary school settings.

Successful applicants will receive a staff kit, 28 days holiday which includes the 8 normal public/ bank holidays in England and Wales.

Are you Eligible:

To be eligible for shortlisting a candidate must have an NGB level 2 coaching qualification, which includes up to date Safeguarding and Emergency first aid certificate.

The successful applicant will need to be available to work during the day with the majority of sessions taking place during the school day. You will be required to work outside of normal office hours, including some evenings and weekends, as well as Bank holidays. The role includes working some home match days as required.

All eligible candidates must have a full UK driving license.
