The Kids Cup Regional Finals, due to be played this Wednesday at The Eddie Davies Academy, has now been re- arranged following bad weather reports for this week.
The EFL Kids Cup Regional Final was due to be played on Wednesday 13th March at the Eddie Davies Academy in Lostock, Bolton, this week.
However, due to particulaly bad orange weather warnings being put in place throughout the North- West this week; it's been agreed to re-arrange the next round of the tournament until Wednesday 20th March due to safety concerns.
The competition will stay as a 10:00am start and is expected to run through until 3pm. Morecambe FC will be competing in the Regional Finals alongside fellow league two clubs Bury, Carlisle United, Grimsby Town, Macclesfield Town, Crewe Alexandra, Mansfield Town, Lincoln City, Notts County, Oldham Athletic, Port Vale and Tranmere Rovers.
Representing Morecambe FC will be last years winners St Peters, who will be hoping they can make it to Wembley two years in a row and lift the trophy.
