Preston based recruitment firm, IT Works, has become the latest local business to support the Shrimps by becoming the front of shirt sponsor for the Morecambe EPPP U18s team.
As part of the sponsorship deal, IT Works have funded an exclusive Macron match shirt for the EPPP squad in what is the first deal of its kind for the Academy.
Commercial Manager, Martin Thomas said: "We're delighted to have IT Works on board in what is an exciting time as it's the first exclusive front of shirt deal for the EPPP programme.
"It's also great that IT Works owner, Darren, has shown his support to the First Team, as well as the Academy, by becoming the first-ever matchday hospitality season ticket holder."
Owner of IT Works, Darren Mills, added: "I'm from Morecambe originally, I went to school down the road. I enjoyed coming to watch Morecambe games with my father back in the Christie Park days, so to be involved now is an honour.
"More importantly, I think clubs in the lower leagues need support to help develop their youth systems and this is one of the few ways they can bring money in and make it sustainable for the future.
"If we can help support the development of youth at Morecambe it's good all around.
"I think it's important for local people and businesses to support their football club. It's good not only for the football club but for the business, to have the football club promote your brand it a fantastic way to get something back."
