Community Sports' free weekly Friday Night Kicks sessions at the Bay Leadership academy offer teenagers and young adults an opportunity to play football with friends in a relaxed fun environment.
Morecambe FC Community Sports’ free Friday Night Kicks sessions have proved yet again to be a popular choice with teenagers and young adults in the area; giving them an hour each week where they can play football in a fun and relaxed environment with friends.
The sessions are aimed to keep young adults active outside of the educational system by giving them a sporting activity to participate in where all are welcome.
Friday Night Kicks sessions are located at the Bay Leadership Academy’s outdoor 3G every week during term time from 20:00-21:00pm.
Those that participate get the opportunity to take part in matches and fun games and can meet plenty of new people of a similar age as well.
Since the start of the new school term we have seen a consistently high turnout to Friday night kicks with between thirty to thirty-five people attending on a weekly basis.
The kicks sessions are something that we are keen to push and take to the next level throughout this year; with the overall aim being to increase young adults’ participation in sport out of the normal school environment and keep them healthy and active outdoors.
If you are interested in attending our free Friday Night Kicks sessions then simply turn up at the Bay Leadership Academy’s outdoor 3G for 8pm to take part!
Please note that we will not be running the session through the October Half-term and we will be back on Friday 1st November.
