Check out the Matchday schedule for the activities taking place before kick off at the Morecambe v Northampton Town game this weekend.
In the build up to Morecambe's league fixture against Northampton Town at the Globe Arena this Saturday, there will again be some pre-match entertainment and activities taking place outside the ground from 1pm onwards.
This weekend we will also be celebrating Academy Day; therefore the community schedule will be slightly different from usual.
MatchDay Schedule
13:00-14:40 The Community Sports "Shoot for Goal" will be outside JB's Bar for supporters of both teams under the age of sixteen to take part for free; with plenty of prizes up for grabs and a chance to get yourself of the top scorers leaderboard.
13:00-14:45 Local entertainer Trevor Cooke will also be positioned at the front of the ground to play music in the build up to the game, welcome and chat to supporters, play some fun games with the younger supporters and also commentate on the "Shoot for Goal" participants.
Please note that there will be no penalty shootout competition at half time of this weekend's game on the pitch; because it is Academy Day all staff and players will be taking part in a lap of honor for supporters at the game to show their appreciation to all the hard work they have done the past year.
Therefore to reduce pitch congestion we will be halting it for this week and it will return for the Bradford City home game on Saturday 12th October.
