There will be some changes to the community matchday activities for the Morecambe v Northampton Town game next Saturday.
On Saturday 28th September, for the Morecambe vs Northampton Town game at the Globe Arena, there will be some changes to the community matchday activities taking place.
For this game we will be celebrating Academy day at Morecambe Football Club and during half-time the players for each age group and the academy coaches and staff will be taking part in a lap of honour around the pitch where supporters can show their support and appreciation to all they have achieved and the hard work during the past year.
Because of this, for this particular home game Morecambe Community Sports will not be doing the usual half-time penalty shootout competition with supporters to avoid congestion on the pitch.
However, the "Shoot for Goal" inflatable will still be outside the Think Interiors JB's Bar, free for supporters under 16 years of age to take part with plenty of prizes up for grabs. The leaderboard will still be going to show each person's progress that manages to score points on the day; with the scoreboard going up on the Morecambe FC Community Sports Facebook and Twitter page for you to see.
Just a reminder that the "Shoot for Goal" will be outside the Think Interiors JB's Bar from 1:00-2:30/35pm.
