The weekly Tuesday Night Football community sessions are the perfect platform for children aged 4-8 years to learn and progress in a fun environment.
Taking place at the Bay Leadership Academy's indoor tensile every week during term time 17:30-18:30pm, the Community Sports led Tuesday Night Football sessions offer a great platform for your child to begin playing football in a fun learning environment where they can thrive.
Children of all footballing ability aged 4-8 years are welcome to attend the sessions, costing just £3.00 for the hour (no signing up needed).
Attendees will learn a wide range of footballing curricular, ranging from dribbling techniques and ball control, shooting drills, pass and move exercises and of course plenty of fun games and competitions bound to keep them happy and active.
The Community Sports coaches are all qualified and CRB checked and they will coach the group to suit each childs' individual ability so that they can learn at their own pace.
The sessions have been going for a couple of weeks since the start of the new school year and it's been great to see a good turnout each week with some new faces keen to take part.
There is spaces available so you can simply turn up with your child if you are interested or would like to give it a go.
Directions for venue:
- Go ahead on Balmoral Road
- Take a left turning off Balmoral Road onto Kings Cresent
- Go straight ahead on Kings Cresent and turn onto Maple Avenue
- Continue on Maple Avenue until the crossroad
- Then take a left turning onto Manor Grove
- Continue on Manor Grove until you reach the end (Going through the big green gates at the entrance).
- You will find the destination straight ahead of you
Please note that there is car park spaces outside the venue. The Tuesday Night Football sessions are held indoors, however participants must wear suitable football clothing and have trainers on at all times.
