MORECAMBE Football Club has announced a new sponsorship deal for its main stand.
The main stand at the Mazuma Stadium will now be known as the Wright and Lord Stand after a five year deal was secured with the local firm of solicitors.
Wright and Lord are no strangers to Shrimps’ fans as it was their names on the club’s shirts when they sealed promotion to the Football League with the win over Exeter at Wembley.
Martin Thomas, Commercial Manager at the club, said: “We are delighted to secure a long term deal with Wright and Lord to rename the stand.
“We have a great relationship with Wright and Lord who have been fantastic supporters of the club for many years now dating back to Christie Park and we are looking forward to working even closer with them over the next few years.
Co-Chairman, Graham Howse added: "Local sponsorship is the lifeblood of the club and long may our close ties with Wright & Lord continue."
Stephen Wright, Director of Wright and Lord, said: “As a born and bred Morecambe firm of Solicitors, we’re delighted to be able to give this support to our town’s football club.
"It’s another big sponsorship for us and we hope it helps our club to be as competitive as possible in the coming season and beyond.
