WITH the new season approaching the club has understandably received numerous questions via social media regarding the impact of COVID-19 restrictions on seeing the team play, both at home and on the road.
The board of directors has hugely appreciated the support and patience of fans as everyone at the club has worked hard to prepare for the new season in incredibly challenging circumstances. These preparations have not been easy, but they are now taking shape.
With this in mind, and on the back of the excellent survey conducted recently by the Shrimps Trust, club directors James Wakefield and Charlie Appleyard are to host a live online Q&A session with fans to answer as many questions as possible on the club's preparations for the new season and getting supporters back into the Mazuma Stadium safely.
The session will be held by online platform Zoom from 7pm on Thursday 3rd September.
With clubs across the EFL still forming their policies and working through the multitude of protocols and restrictions this will ensure that the answers given are as up to date as possible before our first competitive game at Grimsby on Saturday 5th September.
As anyone who has experienced online meetings (or COVID quizzes!) with too many attendees will understand, attendance at the session will necessarily be limited to 40 to enable it to run smoothly.
Everything that is covered in the Q&A will then be published on the Club website after the session.

The 40 names will then be drawn out of a hat and invited to the session. James and Charlie will endeavour to group and answer as many questions as they can over 90 minutes, not just those from the 40 attendees.
