THE Shrimps’ Board of Directors has given an update on the recent transfer activity of the club.
Boss Derek Adams has made five signings so far in the window with the board looking to support the manager further over the coming weeks.
Graham Howse, Co-Chairman, said: "The board met with Derek on Wednesday to continue the healthy dialogue on the January transfer window.
"We are all pleased with the five additions to the squad, four of whom have already settled in quickly, and we are actively looking to strengthen further.
"This has been achieved through prudent budgeting and the continued financial support of the owners.
"We must of course balance the books and to that end, Derek has made several players available for transfer and is working behind the scenes with them and their representatives to achieve an amicable outcome.’’
