IT'S GOING TO BE TWO TEAMS TRYING TO WIN

12 March 2020

Toumani Diagouraga is looking forward to being back on home turf as the Shrimps welcome Plymouth Argyle to the Globe Arena this Saturday.

"It's a tough game on paper but we're in a league where anything can happen," said Toumani.

"Especially when we're at home, we've not lost at home since I arrived at the club. We're hard to beat at home and I'm sure Saturday will be the same.

"We're going to go after them and hopefully get the three points.

"It's a big game, we want to win every game and they're going for promotion so it's going to be two teams trying to win.

"It'll be nice to get back on our pitch after the one we played on last week at Newport, which was really bad.

"There just wasn't any grass, we tried to stick in there but they got a lucky goal that won it.

"It wasn't enjoyable to play in at all and I can't imagine it was very good to watch. It was the same for both teams so we can't make excuses. We lost and now we need to bounce back.

"The weather hasn't been great for our home games this year, which has maybe gone in our favour so hopefully there's another storm coming (laughs)."
