Adam Phillips has been shortlisted for the Sky Bet League 2 Player of the Month Award for September.
The midfielder has been nominated for the award after scoring four goals already this season, two of which coming in the league during September.
An EFL press release said: "The on-loan midfielder is back at Morecambe and has continued his fine form from the end of last season. His vision and eye for a pass set up one goal at Southend where he scored another to add to a penalty - won and converted - at Cheltenham."
Phillips faces competitions from former Shrimps' forward Paul Mullin (Cambridge United), Aaron Martin (Harrogate Town) and Ian Henderson (Salford City).
The judging panel for the Sky Bet Player of the Month comprises Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman; EFL Communications Director Mark Rowan and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
All winners will be announced at 6am on Friday 9 October.
