John O'Sullivan is keen for the Shrimps to take their point against Southend United midweek and continue pushing for automatic promotion.
Speaking after the Southend result O'Sullivan said: "Everyone in the dressing room is disappointed with the result, but at the end of the day it's another point on the board and we're still in the mix with seven games to go.
"Being disappointed with that is an example of the standards we have set ourselves. In the past we may have settled for a point in that game, especially trailing at half time.
"For a spell it looked like we were well on top and it was only a matter of time before we got our noses ahead.
"We just need to show a little more composure. We're in a great position in the league and Southend are fighting for their lives so we'll take the point and keep going.
"First half was a bit hectic, the ball wasn't on the ground very much and overall it was a bit rash. Second half I thought we were the better team.
"We had a lot of set pieces, Cole scored a great goal and we need to take that to Port Vale on Saturday and try and get the three points there.
"There are 21 points left to play for so it's all to play for and we're going to stick together and keep going."
