Stephen Robinson says he is confident that his side can pick up much needed results as the fight against relegation continues.
Sitting 21st in the Sky Bet League One table as it stands, the Shrimps have two huge home games against Crewe Alexandra and Doncaster Rovers respectively, and Robinson says his team will be prepared for each game.
“This season will go right to the wire, we are in and amongst the teams that are fighting for survival and it will probably stay that way all season,” he said.
“It will be about who keeps their nerve, who can put a little run of results together and sometimes who can have that little bit of fortune go their way.
“We can control what we do, we go into every game very prepared and we will play our football and I am confident that we can pick up results.”
After six months in charge at the Mazuma Stadium, Robinson reflected on his time and while admitting it has been a challenge, the Club is heading in the right direction.
“It has been hectic, an absolute rollercoaster, I don’t think there has been ever been more issues that I have had to overcome trying to take this football club forward,” he added.
“We are getting there, as I keep saying, we don’t have an endless pot of money where we can wave a magic wand and fix things.
“Everyone is pulling in the right direction, the board of directors are right behind everything that we are doing as are the fans, on the whole everyone sticks with together and we are moving forward.”
