NATHANIEL KNIGHT-PERCIVAL | The Rest Won't Do Us Any Harm

15 February 2021

Nathaniel Knight-Percival believes the Shrimps' postponed fixture versus Scunthorpe United at the weekend may be a blessing in disguise.

The Sky Bet League Two fixture was due to be the Shrimps' third of seven scheduled for this month.

"Having the game off on Saturday was a bit of a rarity especially at the moment," said Knight-Percival.

"We have so many fixtures to play and the break could benefit us in a way because we have a lot of Saturday, Tuesday games coming up in the near future so I think having the rest won't do us any harm."

Tuesday evening sees the Shrimps squad travel to the Utilita Energy Stadium to face Bradford City, a side who have experienced disruption to their own fixture schedule this month.

The Bantams' away fixture at Scunthorpe United last Tuesday was abandoned after 30 minutes, followed by their fixture os Saturday afternoon suffering the same fate as the Shrimps'.

Knight-Percival added: "Bradford have been in a good bit of form recently and their results have picked up.

"It's anther game for us in which we need to focus on and do our best to take a positive result from.

"We've had a good run of games ourselves and played well in recent fixtures sports we just want to keep that form going.

"We're all feeling positive, so we just need to push on and keep picking up points and see where that takes us."
