Following the tragic death of Adam Robson, the club is honoured to support the Shrimps Trust fund-raising initiative for The Giles' Trust, the Brain Tumour Research Fund that supported Adam and his family.
Adam was a hugely popular and dedicated fan of Morecambe FC, both home and away. The club was saddened to hear of his death and would encourage anyone who can to offer their support to The Giles Trust in his memory. All money raised will fund world-leading research and the vital support that brain tumour patients need during their time in hospital.
Club director, James Wakefield, paid tribute to Adam, saying "It's clear that everyone who came into contact with Adam was struck by his bravery and positivity. This excellent Shrimps Trust fund-raising initiative has the full support of the board, Derek Adams, the first team and everyone associated with the club."
