Derek Adams was full of praise for his side after their excellent 1-0 victory over rivals Cheltenham.
After seeing Liam McAlinden’s 20th minute goal earn a second successive 1-0 win the boss said: “To get a win against the team at the top of the table is a very good victory for us.
“I thought we started the game very well. We changed formation to a diamond because Cheltenham play 3-5-2 and we thought we could get down the side of them - which we did.
“We deservedly went ahead with a good ball down the side and Liam finished it well.
“We had good opportunities, we had a disallowed goal by John O'Sullivan, which was offside and we were delighted with the first-half performance.
“Credit to Cheltenham though. They changed formation in the second half and started to get back into the game - but they didn’t create many good openings.
“They became a bit gung-ho in the second half, it became a front five at times for them but we defended really well and the lads showed great determination.
“On the flip side, we could have counter-attacked at times and we could have maybe got a second goal but we’re delighted with another win and a clean sheet to get the points.''
