Defender Ryan Cooney says the crowd at the Mazuma really help the team ahead of Cambridge United clash.
Morecambe are back on home soil on Tuesday night when they take on fellow newly-promoted side Cambridge United in Sky Bet League One.
“The support has been fantastic throughout the start of the season,” Cooney said.
“They do really help when you’re playing at home because If you’re at tough times in games they can support you through that and you can feel the atmosphere around the place.”
The defender added: “We know we’ve been playing well in games, it’s just the goals we’ve conceded.
“We know we can prevent them. We all set our standards quite high in the team.
“We believe that we are good enough to be at this level but we need to switch on to key moments in the games.”
The 21-year-old said he is enjoying the competition for places among the team.
“We’ve got good players throughout the team so everyone knows week in week out that we’ve got to perform to our best,” he said.
“If not there’s players who are not playing who can easily take that position.”
