Goalkeeper Jökull Andrésson says putting an end to Morecambe’s losing away run is their biggest aim ahead of the Oxford United trip on Saturday.
The Shrimps followed up three consecutive away defeats in Sky Bet League One with an impressive performance at the Mazuma Stadium on Saturday when they earned a point against league-leaders Plymouth Argyle
“We know what we can do, we know what we are capable of doing,” he said.
“We’ll be going there with our heads high and definitely looking for those three points.
“It’s now about putting everything in order and doing it consistently because some of the performances we’ve had this season have been unbelievable.”
The 20-year-old, who is on loan at the club from Reading, says he is enjoying the competition with fellow goalkeeper Kyle Letheren for the number one spot.
“It's brilliant, me and Kyle get on so well,” he added.
“It’s just so good to have because I’m a young 'keeper, I’m trying to get that experience.
“To have another 'keeper that’s always helping you, in training, in matches.
"We always have a chat about everything so I’m really, really lucky to have him here.”
