The Shrimps fell to a narrow 3-2 defeat at the hands of Burton Albion at the Pirelli Stadium in Sky Bet League One.
Liam Gibson opened the scoring on four minutes with his first goal of the season before goals from Thomas O'Connor and Conor Shaughnessy on five and 14 minutes respectively turned the tie on its head.
O'Connor added a second four minutes after the break before Cole Stockton scored a consolation with the last kick of the game.
