Morecambe FC Community Sports is delighted to welcome Stuart Glover as their new Business Manager.
Stuart will support Janet Preston and the Community Sports team, to grow the Charity and strengthen its role in helping in Morecambe FC become the hub of the community.
Stuart brings more than 25 years’ experience of sports development and community engagement, along with business acumen gained, whilst being the manager of the award-winning Salt Ayre Leisure Centre in Lancaster.
Chair of the Charity’s Trustees, Stephen Wright said: “We are very pleased that Stuart has joined us at this exciting chapter in the charity and the club’s history. Stuart brings a wealth of industry and local knowledge, along with a skill set that will help to drive the charity forward.”
Stuart added: “I am extremely excited to be offered this opportunity. I have worked with Community Sports over the years and understand the impact they have on the whole community, through its wide range of valuable projects.
“My aim is to add the building blocks to an already strong foundation, helping us grow - after an uncertain time during the pandemic. What a fantastic time to be part of the MFC family.”
