Morecambe FC Community Sports teams up with Government’s Kickstart Scheme

The Shrimps are recruiting for various positions through the Government’s Kickstart Scheme.

Morecambe FC Community Sports are on the lookout for two Commercial Assistants and a Community Coach to work alongside the club.  

The Kickstart Scheme provides funding to employers to create jobs for 16 to 24-year-olds on Universal Credit with the Government providing further funding for training and support so that young people involved in the scheme can get a job in future. 

Commercial Assistants 

The successful candidates will assist the Commercial Manager and Events Manager in dealing with customers to help maximises sales and presenting an excellent image of Morecambe FC & Community Sports. 

The position offers 25 hours of work per week and includes working days which will include evening and weekend matchdays which will be discussed with the applicant.   

The hourly rate of pay for this position is the national minimum wage, all details including main responsibilities, essential skills, experience, and qualifications can be found in the job description. 

Community Coach 

The successful candidate will be key to success and growth of the Community Foundation. Allowing the new charity to expand operations and continue to deliver high quality school-based and community sessions. New coaches will be accountable for the welfare of children and vulnerable adults under their responsibility in line with the Foundation’s Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adult Policy. 

The position offers 25 hours of work per week and includes working days which will include evening and weekends, it is also expected that there will be the opportunity for remote working.
