Manager Stephen Robinson says his Shrimps side will not underestimate Doncaster Rovers on Saturday.
Despite being bottom of the Sky Bet League One table, the Shrimps boss says that their performances don’t merit their position in the league standings.
“They are struggling in terms of their league position, I have watched their games and they have been unfortunate of late,” he said.
“They played well against Wigan and came away with nothing, they change their system quite a lot - which they did against Portsmouth and I thought they were very good.
“Sometimes you don’t get things that go your way, and I don’t think that the league table reflects their true position, so we won’t be going there and underestimating them.
After losing 4-3 to AFC Wimbledon last time out in the league, Robinson admits that they have learnt lessons from that game and are well prepared for Saturday’s visit to the Keepmoat Stadium.
“In every defeat there are lessons to be learnt, we have spoken about it and we have put it to bed,” he added.
“There are things we can control and you have to credit Wimbledon, they are very good at what they do but we move on from that.
The Doncaster game is a completely different game, a different way of playing and we are really well prepared for it.”
