2022/23 Season Ticket FAQs

Following on from the announcement outlining the 2022/23 Season Ticket prices and how to purchase, we have created a handy set of FAQs that may help you, should you have any questions.

  1. Am I guaranteed access to league matches as a season ticket holder?

Yes. All season ticket holders are guaranteed their place at all 23 home League matches with a 2022/23 Season Ticket. Away match tickets are not included and must be purchased separately.

  1. Season Tickets renewals – can I guarantee my seat(s)?

We will hold your seat from the current season until Wednesday 1 June 2022, to give current Season Ticket holders the option to renew their specific seat(s) or move to an alternative available seat(s). After this date, the seat(s) will be released on general sale and we cannot guarantee this will be available to buy thereafter. 

  1. How can I purchase my season ticket?

2022/23 Season Tickets can be purchased as follows:

  • Online via the Club ticketing website, see instructions below 
  • At the Morecambe FC Club Shop (identification will be required). Morecambe FC Club Shop opening times are Monday to Friday 10-5pm.

    3.1.Purchasing a season ticket online

  • Pick an available seat, then your required package and then go to checkout.
  • At the checkout, you will be required to complete the following details per season ticket holder.
    • Season Ticket Holder First Name
    • Season Ticket Holder Second Name
    • Address
    • Date of Birth
    • Email Address
    • Contact number

Please note that when you attend any match you may be required to provide identification. Supporters purchasing a 14–17-year-old Season Ticket will need to provide the name and contact details of their parent/guardian in case of emergency.

Due to our commitment to safeguarding children, we will not permit entry to any person under the age of 14 who is unaccompanied. As a result, Under 14’s Season Tickets can only be purchased with an over 18 Season Ticket, who must act as their responsible adult.

  1. Which games will my Season Ticket allow me to attend?

All Season Ticket holders will have their chosen seats or place on the terrace guaranteed for all 23 home League fixtures for the 22/23 season. Cup / Papa John's Trophy fixtures are not included in this, and tickets must be bought separately; however, Season Ticket holders will be given priority to purchase in any Cup / Papa John's Trophy fixtures.

  1. Can I change my seat to another seat in the same or another stand?

Yes, Season Ticket holders renewing will be able to move their seats, but only to another other available seats. To do this you must email tickets@morecambefc.com.

  1. When renewing or purchasing a Season Ticket, can I buy more season ticket(s) for someone else?

Yes, you can buy additional Season Tickets, but we must have the information requested above for everyone you purchase for.

  1. How do I purchase a disabled/carer Season Ticket?

Please visit the Morecambe FC Club Shop and a member of staff will be able to take you through this process. Alternatively, email tickets@morecambefc.com for assistance.

  1. How and when will I receive my Season Ticket?

Everyone will be given the option for postage this season, note this will be at an additional cost and will be First Classed Tracked with Royal Mail. Those wishing to collect will also be able to do so, though will need to select this option at the point of renewal/purchase. No season tickets will be posted or ready for collection until w/c  6 June 2022. Thereafter, we will do a weekly postage run and daily collection until the first home game of the 2022/23 season.

  1. What does a Season Ticket entitle me to?

All Season Ticket holders are guaranteed their place at all 23 home League matches with a 2022-23 Season Ticket.  Season Ticket holders will also be given priority to purchase in any cup fixtures, and 5% off ALL purchases in the Club Shop.

  1. When is the deadline to renew my Season Ticket?

Current Standing Season Ticket holders do not have a cut off date to renew, but we encourage all to renew as early as possible to keep sales going up, and the price coming down!

Current Seated Season Ticket holders will have until Wednesday 1 June 2022 to reserve your seat prior to these being released on general sale. (Please be aware that to maximise seat occupancy we may request that some fans move one seat to the left or right in order not to leave single seats available).

  1. How long do I have as a previous Season Ticket holder to renew before my seat is released?

Current Seated Season Ticket holders will have until Wednesday 1 June 2022 to reserve your seat prior to these being released on general sale. (Please be aware that to maximise seat occupancy we may request that some fans move one seat to the left or right in order not to leave single seats available).

 12. If we do not hit the targets, how will I pay the extra amount?

In the unfortunate event we do not hit certain sales targets, and additional ‘top-up’ payments are required, Season Ticket holders that are affected will be sent a link, or can pop in store to pay the ‘top-up’. All purchased/renewed Season Tickets that haven’t paid the upgrade before the beginning of the season will be blocked until payment is made, but we will be on hand to help you.

  1. Do I need a new Season Ticket card if I am renewing?

Anyone who renews/purchases a new Season Ticket will receive a new card for the 2022-23 campaign.

  1. Can I pay via Finance?

Unfortunately, we cannot offer a finance option on Season Tickets. We will be on sale across the whole of the summer and into next season so we hope that this allows opportunity to buy at an appropriate time for all supporters.   1. I am having trouble renewing my Season Ticket, what do I do?

First of all, rest assured we will be able to help you, so don’t worry! If you have any issues at all, please contact the pop in and see us, or email tickets@morecambefc.com and we will be more than happy to help. 

  1. Can I get a refund on my Season Ticket, if I choose to cancel it after I have purchased but before the 2022/23 season starts? 

Season Tickets are non-refundable and therefore in the event you wish to cancel your season ticket, no refund would be offered.

  1. Where is the Family Stand at the Mazuma Stadium, so I know where is best to purchase season tickets for my family?

Morecambe FC have two Family Stand areas, blocks D & E of the Wright & Lord seated stand.

  1. How does the sales target and pricing scheme work?

The more we sell – the less you will pay!

In line with last years’ successful campaign, the number of Season Tickets sold will be split into Standing and Seating, with the sales targets and prices running independent of each other. Updates will be issued on a regular basis up to the cut off for our price lock in on Friday 22 July 2022 at 5pm! Thereafter, all prices will be locked in and we will know exactly how much the Season Ticket will cost!

 19. Where can I claim my t-shirt?

You will receive an email after Wednesday 1 June 2022, where you can order your t-shirt in the size you require.

  1. Why can’t I choose postage or collection when selecting a terrace season ticket?

This is something we are working on and will update supporters in due course on how to select postage and collection at a later date.
