Morecambe Football Club is looking to recruit to the following position, to work at Mazuma Stadium on first team matchdays:

Club Matchday Designated Safeguarding Officer (DSO)

This is a permanent position. Part-time, approximately 7 hours per fortnight (includes evening and weekend working.)

The role will have responsibility of all safeguarding and welfare matters for those on the stadium footprint during 1st Team matchdays. (See Job Description for full details of the role.)

Salary: £21-25K pa (pro rata)

The above post requires an Enhanced Criminal Records Check via the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checking service. We fully comply with the DBS Code of Practice and Safeguarding Children Policy/Regulations.

The above post is exempt from Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. Therefore, all convictions including spent convictions that have not been subject to filtering by a CRC should be declared. Relevant information and / or documents will be distributed as part of the recruitment and selection process.
