Morecambe's first away trip of the 2022/23 campaign ended in defeat at the hands of Peterborough United at the Weston Homes Stadium.
Two goals before the break courtesy of Joe Ward and Ben Thompson fired the hosts into the lead, before Hector Kyprianou rounded off the scoring for Grant McCann's men on 72 minutes.
