Cole Stockton says he is delighted to be recognised for his efforts last season with a place in the 2021/22 PFA League One Team of the Year.
The striker enjoyed a successful campaign, netting 23 league goals and proving four assists, and finished as the division’s third-highest goal scorer.
“I’m delighted to win it and be recognised for what I did last season, and to be recognised by the PFA,” he said.
“It’s always nice to win awards, so I’m grateful.
“You’ve always got to keep hungry, it [the award] gives you that little more bite to go and do it again.”
