The defender opened his account for the Club in our home game against The Railwaymen.
A first-time cross courtesy of Adam Phillips from the right was put on a plate for the Jamaican international who made no mistake with a diving header, leaving goalkeeper Dave Richards with no chance.
With 67% of the vote, the defender says he’s pleased to pick up the accolade.
“It’s an honour to win the award and a thank you goes to the fans for their votes,” Leigh said.
“It’s always a great feeling to score your first goal for a Club, and it was a brilliant cross from Phillo to be fair, it was a shame we couldn’t get the win on the night but since that match, we’ve responded well and pushed on.
“My last goal came in August 2019 for Aberdeen, so it was nice for me personally and hopefully I can pop up with one or two more between now and the end of the season.”
