Morecambe Football Club can confirm that goalkeeper Kyle Letheren has left the Club by mutual consent.
The 34-year-old played a huge part in getting the Shrimps promoted to Sky Bet League One, and kept a clean sheet in the Play-Off Final win against Newport County at Wembley.
Manager Stephen Robinson said: “Myself and Kyle have spoken at length and decided it was the right time for him to move on, he understandably wants to play games and further his career, this gives him the best chance of doing that.
“I would like to wish him well in whatever comes next and as Club we would like to thank him for his efforts this season and also last season, where he played a big part in helping this team secure promotion to Sky Bet League One.”
Morecambe FC would like to thank Kyle for his contribution during some of the Clubs proudest times, and wish him the best of luck in his career.
